We do an annual health fair for the community. The bone density screenings are one of the most popular offerings. LifeHealth has been renting Hologic Sahara bone density screening equipment for the past 3 years. They send everything we need and the machines arrive in advance so we can train our staff. It has been an excellent partnership.

Our insurance company required that we use "their" national flu shot vendor. They were difficult to work with and required 8 weeks lead time to schedule. They were not flexible in meeting our employees' work schedules or accommodating our smaller locations. LifeHealth stepped in to handle some of our locations at the last minute. The difference was incredible. We are using LifeHealth for all of our flu shots next year.

First, as a retiree, it allows me to keep some of the non-essential pleasures, such as lattes, coffee beans, and movie tickets.
Second, it is a totally different aspect of health care for me. It is very satisfying to counsel individuals on health promotion and maintenance- the need to be pro-active regarding our own health.
Third, since I spent my professional life in a hospital setting, it is really is fun to go to different manufacturing and service organizations to see what "goes on" in other work environments. It really has opened my eyes to other peoples’ professional lives and creativity."
