Margot LangstaffMargot Langstaff, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A.

Managing Partner

A clinician, a builder and a leader, Margot is a Harvard educated, a successful entrepreneur, and an Army veteran. She has spent her 35-year career in multiple areas of the health care system including serving in the military health care system as a medic in the U.S. Army and as the clinical manager of Yale New Haven's Hospital Surgical Trauma Unit. She went on to manage and staff the first modern operating room/outpatient clinic in Haiti. Building on her business experience, she transitioned into sales and marketing of pharmaceuticals at Shering Plough and then went on to clinical and business management of vascular graphs at GoreTex.

Ms. Langstaff has never shied away from new experiences and challenges and this has resulted in her many successes. She took her strong clinical and business foundation and transformed them into her own successful business. She is now know as an expert in designing and starting successful companies that help people meet tough challenges, particularly related to health care.

She is an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School. She also received a BSN form University of Connecticut. In the U.S.Army, she earned the distinction as the youngest enlistee to manage the organization's largest outpatient clinic on the East Coast. She holds Registered Nursing licenses in multiple states. Margot is a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor.

A savvy leader with an innate ability to see opportunity in any challenge, she is a sought-after health care leader who shares her visionary guidance to various organizations such as the Commission for Certification of Case Managers (Commissioner), Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), AT&T Women Entrepreneurs' Forum (Advisory Member), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Inc., Women Business Leaders in Health Care and Founding member of Conduit, a mentoring program for the women of the Harvard Business School. 

She previously served on the board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Urological Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the steering committee for the University of Colorado Center for Women's Health Research.  Langstaff has also taught at the Arapahoe Community College School of Nursing and served on prestigious councils and committees including the White House Conference on Small Business and Governor Roy Romer Economic Development Council, among many others.

Elisa HamillElisa Hamill, R.N., B.S., M.S., M.S.N.  

Managing Partner

Elisa Hamill is a leader in health care and has built an extraordinary reputation in business, operations and clinical service. By combining her expertise to create LifeHealth, it is a key reason why this small company, has the capability to work effectively with much larger organizations.

Ms. Hamill's impressive career includes executive positions for national and regional companies throughout the health care industry. At CNA Corporation, she served as an industry expert in the Military Health System's procurement for $6.4 billion in administrative services and $19.5 billion in health care for more than 8 million military beneficiaries and their families. She received a commendation from the Assistant Secretary of Defense for this work.

During her tenure as CEO of the Colorado Healthcare Purchasing Alliance, Hamill increased membership tenfold—from 120 to 1,200 employer--and catapulted the company into a profitable status. She went on to join WellPoint Health Networks/UNICARE as vice president, where she oversaw the operations for self-insured national associations. Hamill served BlueCross BlueShield Colorado/Nevada/New Mexico as senior vice president operations and vice president government programs, overseeing leadership and operations for the regional company and its subsidiaries. She also served BlueCross BlueShield New Mexico as vice president, leading the growth of governmental programs from one state to 20 states and added a national pilot program in 40 states. She also worked on an Internet communication initiative for physicians and patients called Reach My Doctor.

Hamill’s 25-year record of extraordinary service in health and wellness is punctuated by recognition for service and innovation, including a national award for creating a new insurance program for small employers. She holds Registered Nursing licenses in multiple states. Margot is a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor.

Hamill’s expertise in operations and health insurance led her to realize the growing complexity and expense of our nation’s health care system and the negative impact this has on nearly everyone— especially those with chronic diseases. As a co-owner of LifeHealth, Hamill values efficient services for busy professionals who want to improve their health or stabilize a medical problem.

Hamill holds a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. in Environmental Medicine from New York University, and an M.S. in Nursing from Pace University. She has served the community in a variety of capacities beyond her professional life. She has co-authored and published works covering public health policy and strategy for respected publications in the health care industry. She is on the Board of Colorado Society for Wellness and Prevention. She previously served on the founding Steering Committee and then the Board of the Center for Women’s Health Research at the University of Colorado. Hamill has also served on the clinical faculty at Arapahoe Community College School of Nursing. She is an honorary trustee for the Women’s Foundation of Colorado and is a member of the prestigious Women Business Leaders in Health Care. She is also a member of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is a long time volunteer at the House of Hope. LifeHealth is an excellent way to combine her business and nursing skills and it has also allowed her to purse her passion for medical missions in Cambodia.

Mary BrookMary Brook

Controller

As the Controller for LifeHealth, Ms. Brook brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing businesses of different sizes in diverse industries.  Most recently, she has been the controller for BridgeHealth International, Inc. where she manages the accounting, reporting, human resources and financial controls for the organization. Prior to joining BridgeHealth, she worked as a financial accounting consultant to businesses in the health care, financial services and sports and entertainment industries. From 1989 to 1997 she was the controller and director of Investor Relations for the Hallwood Companies, a group of 30 publicly traded oil and gas companies located in Denver and Dallas. From 1981 to 1989 she worked as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, most recently as senior manager; there, she served clients in the health care, financial services, oil and gas, retail, government, not-for-profit, manufacturing, automotive and construction industries including General Motors, Janus Funds, Oppenheimer Funds, Catholic Charities, the Colorado Department of Education and the American Lung Association.

Ms. Brook is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.


Teresa Heisser, PT, MSN, FNP-C

LifeHealth Clinical Director

As the LifeHealth Clinical Director, Teresa brings her years of experience in direct patient care combined with her passion for prevention and wellness education. A graduate of Regis University Nurse Practitioner Program, Ms. Heiser has been working with LifeHealth for several years providing training to our clinicians and education for our customers employees. She started her career as a Physical Therapist and then studied nursing, going on to receive her NP. Clinical experience includes working with orthopedic/neurological issues, acute/chronic pain patients, dermatology services and other direct patient care. Teresa is a member of The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Colorado Society of Advanced Practice Nurses.

Ashley Stafford, B.A.

Event Manager

Ashley Stafford, Event Manager for LifeHealth, joined the company in 2009. A graduate of Colorado State University, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She comes to LifeHealth with a more than three-year career in event management, including an intensive stint as Events Coordinator for the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Internships with both Altitude Sports and Kroenke Sports Enterprises in Denver, Colorado, confirmed for Ashley that her expertise was founded in planning and executing.

Ashley is responsible for coordinating all aspects of LifeHealth’s events, including wellness screenings and immunization clinics. Ashley also organizes all staffing efforts in Colorado and around the nation.

Judy Bederman, B.B.A.

Office Manager

After a lengthy career in technology, Judy joined LifeHealth in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas in Austin and continues class work towards a Masters in political science. She spent the last eight years of her career as Information Technology Director for O’Meara Ford Center and many years with ADP as Account Executive Supervisor, Showcase Accounts Manager, and Internal Technical Support Manager.

Judy works with four non-profit boards and is a community activist working to advance the status of women both locally and worldwide.
